Today I am going to tell you guys about some of the coolest planets. And some awesome facts too!
JUPITER Jupiter is the biggest planet out of the nine of them. (Not counting pluto) Jupiter's average distance from the sun would be: 35,980,000 miles (57,900,000 km!) If you think of one mile being four full laps, thats a looooong way apart! But if you think about it, there are planets waaaay farther away. Jupiter's position in the sun orbit would be first. (Okay, that was just a random fact) And get this: one full day on Jupiter is 59 earth days! And Jupiter's year is veeeery loong. 11.9 earth YEARS! How long is that?! SATURN Saturn is the second biggest planet. But is pretty cool because of that huge ring it has. You know how we only have one moon? Saturn has sixty nine! SIXTY NINE PEOPLE, and if you thought Jupiters year was long Saturns has one year when here on earth we have 29.5 years! Crazy, am I right? We wonder if there is even days and nights on these crazy planets. Also, here is a fun fact: Saturn's outermost ring is roughly 7,000 times larger than the planet itself. NEPTUNE Now, our last planet, Neptune. Have you ever wondered what lies on this wonderful blue planet? Well lots of fun facts! Neptune is ninth in the orbit around the sun. Thats far away. FAR. The actual distance from the sun? 2,795,000,000 miles, and one day there is sixteen hours here on earth! Weird because their day is shorter than ours! A year you say? How long a year? 164.8 EARTH YEARS! Oh. my. GOODNESS! I hope you learned some about these three cool planets! I find them pretty interesting myself. -Anna When your dicussing your health maybe with friends or family, one very scary topic can come up. Cancer. Cancer is a sickness that spreads bad, BAD cells all over your body. And when they take over, it can cause death. Doctors call the cancer spreading in this way metastasis. But if you know someone that is fighting cancer right now, don't be afraid to give them a big hug! Doctors have approved that cancer is NOT contaigous. Some things doctors are finding out causes cancer is: cigarette smoking, drinking too much alcohol, and over exposure of the suns rays. Over the years doctors cure more and more patients. When the signs of cancer are gone, the doctors say the word remission. For the patients, they are always waiting for that word. To get to remission though, patients get rid of cancer by chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation. It depends on the type of cancer. A type of cancer is: Neuroblastoma. My sister had it, but she survived. :D Some of my other family members have had cancer. Have any of yours?
Emails and Instant messages are a great way to communicate! Email basically started out a work communication. But then it grew. It grew to everyone. And then, instant message was created. That was a bit quicker and easier. Ray Tomlinson created email in 1971. It was a new quick way for people to actualy email between different computers, using email addresses. But email is always changing. We can now access it on our phones, and getting lots of emails from subscritions, and stores. There is also instant message. It does not cost too much money and it is pretty quick. Instant messages also has it's own "Language". As in: lol- Laugh out loud or brb- Be right back. But not just things like lol to say your emotion. Intant message and some email accounts have EMOTICONS!!! With emojis, you can show how you feel without people having to see your face! Emails and Instant message made a great improvement to technology! With IM (Instant message) was created in the 1990s, it allowed another way to improve work messages and for fun messaging. Personally, I'm pretty glad Email and Instant Message was created!
Believe it or not your brain has had a autocorrecting system "built" into it since you were born! Your brain is as smart as a computer or piece of technology. It's kind of weird to think about. Holding a computer chip in you hand but have it implanted in your palm? Weird! Try reading this sentence and see how your brain autocorrects!
Tihs snetnece si tsetnig yuor auotcorerct skilsl Did you do it? Pretty cool right? Despite the misspellings your brain read it normally! Now you might be wondering, if my brain autocorrects than why did I get a C- on my spelling test? Sometimes you might not have regonized that word for a long time. Readers don't read one letter at a time, but evaulate whole words. So you envaulated the sentence: This sentence is testing your autocorrect skills But don't worry, you'll get an A+ on a spelling test sometime! -Anna If you were like me when I first saw the word MOONBOW then your probably wondering, what the heck is that?!? Well it's actually pretty cool! After is rains, and the sun comes out, what do we see? A RAINBOW!!! But when it becomes dark and the moon comes out, you wouldn't usally see a rainbow, but you might see a MOONBOW!!! Just like rays make RAINBOWS during the day, the reflected light towards the moon makes a MOONBOW! Although a MOONBOW has to have just the right light to appear. The moon doesn't produce too much light so it can't do much. For example: it has to be VERY dark and the moon has to be VERY low in the sky. (less than 42 degrees above the horizon) Thats crazy right!?! Even though a MOONBOW is rare, it will tend to appear frequently in the same places. More examples: Near a waterfall or near a thick layer of mist. Hope all of this makes you want to see a MOONBOW desperately because, I sure do!! Lucky for you, I will supply a picture. :D See you later! Anna out.September 11th was a very devastating day. With four hijacked plane crashes, we can only wonder why would someone want to go on a suicide mission like this? Or were they forced? At 8:46 A.M. the chaos began. The North Tower was hit. Causing everyone on the plane to die, and many in the building. It was a casual day just then. No one was expecting a hijacked plane! But maybe when they thought it was over, then came another plane, into the North Tower! 9:03 was when it happened. Again, everyone on the plane died, including workers in the building. But after those two towers were on fire and soon collapsing, the South Tower first, and the North Tower about a half hour later, the plane crashes did not stop! Next came a plane into Washington, D.C. at 9:37 A.M. crashing into the Pentagon! Many died, and it was another devastation. And finally, a flight that crashed into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania when the passengers attempted to control the plane. Authorities believe that the hijacker was trying to either get to the White House or to the U.S. capital building. The four hijacked planes, the collapsing of buildings, and the fires left 2,977 innocent lives lost. A memorial now sits where the towers were and all who have died, have their names engraved. This event went down in all american history. This answer is yes although, it is a tough one to answer. Lot's of horses are caught by humans and used to ride and back in the olden days, were used to pull wagons. But not a lot of people see tons of horses frolicking in a field. And that is mostly because horses now think to stay away from humans! But not all horses that are out there "In the wild" are actually wild animals. For example: if a horse was born, and their mother was owned by a human, they would have never been a feral (wild, not owned by humans) horse even if they were sent back into the wild to live. It wasn't always this way. Hundreds of years ago, wild or feral horses WERE frolicking threw the fields and there were tons! If only those beautiful creatures would let us see them in the wild. There is one theory to this answer: That the answer is, YES! There is few horses still out in the wild, staying hidden from us humans!
